This Homewood stands out over the others, because of its peaceful setting and outstanding service. Right out the back door is a beautiful walking trail along the water, so very zen. Martin at the Front Desk got us in the instant we hit the doorway, a really, really roomy 2-Bedroom (1 King, 1 Queen)/2-Bath (tubs in both) Suite with screened windows that opened for a breeze and more of that view from Room 206. It was laid out in such a way there was plenty of privacy between the bedrooms and the kitchen is open, not like the usual tight/ship’s galley-like kitchens in most Homewoods. The Fitness Room has the usual machines and free weights, the indoor pool is adjacent (sadly, the jacuzzi is being repaired) and there is a clean and tidy Laundry Room (coins, $2.25 each). Breakfast is so good all we could think of was how delicious the Wednesday night Reception must be. Alas, we were here on a Friday. But breakfast had it all: scrambled egg pockets, sausage, really good potatoes, breads/bagels, oatmeal and best of all, coffee in the lobby before the start of breakfast. Special thanks to GM Jared for making this such a memorable stay, we shall return and stay longer next time!

Our room in this hotel was very spacious which worked well for our family. It was very run down meaning the couch was dirty, the carpet was torn and dirty, and the kitchen was worthless for cooking with one pot. I debated switching hotels every minute in the room because it felts so gross. We could also hear every room around us including dogs barking and people fighting. Definitely will never stay here again and would not recommend.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other families deserve to know about our experience.My family paid nearly $2,000 to stay at this Homewood Suites, expecting a relaxing family trip. Instead, we experienced repeated housekeeping delays, missing room supplies, poor communication, sanitation concerns, and a level of service that fell well below what I expect from a Hilton property.Throughout our stay we repeatedly had to request towels, trash bags, paper products, and housekeeping services. Many requests were delayed for hours or required multiple trips to the front desk.One of the most disturbing moments occurred when I personally observed housekeeping place clean bed linens directly onto the hotel room floor before preparing the bed. As a guest, I found that unacceptable.Our family also experienced insect concerns during our stay. My young daughter later developed multiple skin bumps and irritation that resulted in a seven-hour emergency room visit and prescription medication. While I cannot say with certainty what caused her symptoms, the timing of everything made the experience extremely concerning.The housekeeping delays also caused us to arrive over an hour late to a prepaid family reservation at Main Event, significantly impacting our plans and the overall enjoyment of our trip that we had to go to an entire different place.I will say that Nicholas was professional and courteous throughout the process, and General Manager Jared Horn did provide a refund for one night’s stay and a late checkout. I appreciate those efforts. However, given the repeated issues over multiple days, I do not believe that compensation adequately reflected what my family experienced.I hope Hilton Corporate reviews this matter and works to improve housekeeping standards, communication, and guest service so that future families do not experience what we did.It was horrible, anxiety through the roof plus we traveled over 800+ miles, my bestfriend and mother traveled over 400+ miles to enjoy a 3 month prior planned vacation just to experience this type of service.

We’re a family of four from the UK and visit this area every year. We’ve found this hotel to be the best value for money, with comfortable beds, a great location and genuinely lovely staff.A very special mention must go to Alma on the front desk, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She could not have been more kind, welcoming or helpful, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. She is a real credit to the hotel and made such a positive difference to our stay.Our children love the basketball court and pool, and the breakfast is perfectly adequate for our needs. We’ll definitely be back again next year!

This hotel was beautiful and the stay was lovely. My room was clean and the service was wonderful. From the helpful front desk staff to the amazing reception and breakfast. Can’t wait to stay at this property again!
