Since moving to the Conroe area we have gone to 2 productions at The Owens Theatre. Great intimate theatre with good seating. I don't think you can have a bad seat to view the stage. We have enjoyed the productions and look forward to seeing more. It's great to support the local arts too, and we are lucky to have this so close to home.

Wonderful theater with extremely talented players. Great price for a lovely night out. My daughters and I get dressed up and make the Christmas play our annual tradition. Easy to get to and easy parking. User friendly website, too. I would recommend to everyone!

Living in Conroe, it is great to have two excellent choices for theater - The Crighton Theater and the Owen Theater. The Crighton give you the feel of an old time yesteryear movie house, whereas, the Owen Theater has modern comfortable seating and feels a bit more intimate setting. Or recent visit for Mamma Mia was excellent...good acoustics and stage talent.

The Owen Theatre is the home of The Players Theatre Company, which is the longest running community theatre company in Texas history. The finest plays and musicals are presented at 'The Owen Theatre.

We had such a relaxing experience last time at the theatre. Enjoyed the play - Seven Brides for seven Brothers; the members of the company created such a nice atmosphere. It is a small company but like to visit their theatre, it is much closer to us, and can find restaurants to have dinner afterwards. It is great!
