Urbana isn't your typical taqueria or Mexican restaurant, sure you will find tacos, enchiladas and soups, but the ones here brilliantly juxtapose eclectic ingredients that you rarely find in Mexican food. For instance, the Pork Belly tacos come in a fresh, blue corn tortilla, then stacked with house pickled daikon and a drizzle of cilantro aioli on top. The Squid Ink Risotto seems out of place when you see it on the menu, however when the Diabla marinated shrimp, orange segments and Cotija cheese are added, the dish screams Mexico. The cocktail menu is just as innovative and don't forget to visit during Taco Tuesday, it will easily transform into your favorite day of the week.
