Listen up fishing enthusiasts and or marine life seekers!!!….. Capt.Blenker is the real deal when it comes to getting it done on the water. I booked a September trip, which can be a tough month for guides trying to get the job done…. That is if they aren’t seasoned. Capt. Blenker did not bat an eye when we spoke about a September trip. One species popped out of his mouth…. Gag Grouper. This is a formidable opponent to even the most seasoned fisherman. The fight kicks off and is settled in the first five seconds. Either you will keep them from the reef or you won’t. Once the hook is in, they’re hell bent for the bottom and only you can stop them. I am no novice when it comes to salt water fishing and catching the variant species of The Gulf of America. I’ve had days where the fish didn’t cooperate, the guide didn’t know what he was doing (Hi, it’s me “guide” lol) and or the weather/tide/Neptune just wasn’t having it that day. Capt. Blenker takes all that into account and still makes a way. Today we we yielded more than enough for a meal or two and had an amazing time doing so!!!! The wife pulled in a juvenile Gag, a whole mess of Mangrove snappers, and we closed out the trip with the drag screaming and a keeper Gag doing all he could to stay out of the Moore family kitchen….. he failed. A bonus sea turtle making a guest appearance as well!! Capt John Blenker!! Here’s to you sir and to many more adventures on the water!

Capt John was the best! We had four young boys and he did a great job of teaching and getting us on the fish. We cannot wait to go out again with Capt. John!

Highly recommended. Had great action all day and the Captain was great to hang out with for the trip. Cleaned our catch and dropped us back directly at our AirBNB (we’re on a canal in Palmetto). Top notch experience!

So glad we booked this wildlife sightseeing tour in Bradenton. Captain John was a fantastic host - welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife around Tampa Bay. The ride was smooth and comfortable, and we felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Seeing dolphins and coastal birds was such a highlight!We also loved getting off the boat to explore Egmont Key and see the local turtles up close, which made the experience even more special. It was the perfect amount of time on the water and was such a great mix of learning, relaxing, and exploring that we’d absolutely do it again and happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

He’s incredibly knowledgeable about both the local area and fishing, and his passion really shows. We caught a ton of fish, saw a beautiful dolphin, and enjoyed every minute on the water.Captain John even cleaned and cut fresh fish for us to take home for dinner—such a thoughtful touch! He’s an awesome guide, very fairly priced, and even extended our time on the water without hesitation.My family has been booking with him for years, and we always look forward to our next trip.
