At Minimally Invasive Surgeons of North County, we perform the full spectrum of General Surgical procedures (including breast disease, colorectal, endocrine and foregut), are all trained in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. In addition, we offer a comprehensive bariatric and metabolic surgery program that deals with obesity and its related medical conditions. Our program includes medically directed non-surgical weight loss, in-house nutritional and mental health counseling, in-house support groups and exercise/yoga classes. We also partner with community-based fitness centers and wellness programs. We have bariatric surgery privileges at Palomar Medical Center-Poway and Tri-City Medical Center. We are contracted with many of the insurance plans, this includes, Medicare, managed HMO's by Greater TriCity IPA(GTCIPA), CommunityCare IPA, Scripps Medical Group, Sharp Community Medical Group (SCMG) and Primary Care Associates Medical Group (PCAMG), managed Medi-Cal by Molina Medi-Cal and Community Health Group and PPO insurances.
