Matt was really great. We had a class schedules and he has problems with his furnace getting up to temp and recommended another glass blower (reviewed them too). He worked with us while we were on vacation in the smokies so the we could get this class in. He is a great instructor! Took his time with our nephew teaching him how to blow glass, add colors, and create a peace that was beautiful. He ended up making a large drinking glass. Matt then took my wife through a class and she made flower with a stem. If you want to learn how to blow glass, see Matt at Marble City Glassworks. He is one the best, most patient people, and interesting conversationalist I have met.

This was at the owner's house which was very junky. Literally, there was junk piled everywhere in the open air shed and around the yard. If I had known before what the physical location looked like, I never would have come here. I also cannot in good conscience recommend it. All that being said, he knows what he's doing and was fun to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of making my Christmas ornament. However, his place looks like a fire hazard waiting to happen. Dude, do yourself a favor and clean up your junk!

Had a really good time and made some great memories with the family working with Matt at Marble City. Don't let the old garage and being off the beaten path worry you. Matt was great with the kids and knew his stuff. Made a pumpkin and some ornaments and was able to pick colors and accents. Would visit again with friends.

We had a great time making glass with Matt. He is an excellent teacher. The price was good for making two pieces and he takes his time to make sure you understand the process and to make sure everything is safe. The location was unexpected but it turned out to be a great and personal experience.
