tripadvisorThis is a beautiful and tranquil place, well kept by its staff and volunteers. There’s lots of shaded paths, some waterfalls, a lagoon, and an enclosed tropical section. Our kids’ favorite part was all of the little creatures that we saw, such as peeper frogs, large grasshoppers, blue-tailed lizards, bees, and butterflies. It’s well worth a visit, especially given that both parking and admission are free.
MoreThe staff here are super friendly and helpful. This is a smaller botanical gardens compared to others we've visited but it is free. The grounds are nice to walk around but it won't take more than 1/2 hour. They had a lot of pumpkins set out for the season but there wasn't much other foliage blooming. There are several photo opp spots. Its in the same area as a golf course and park so at first we weren't sure we were in the right place. I would only bring children here if you wanted a photo.
MoreThere was a sign at the front noting seasonal frost damage and animal damage. It was apparent that replanting and recovery were under way. Would like to come back and see this very nice garden in its prime. It could be improved by adding more plant markers so guests know what they’re looking at.
MoreA lovely conservatory with lots of nice orchids. I wasn't able to tour the gardens due to the weather, I'll be back. The volunteers were all very friendly and helpful.
MoreSmall but very cool outdoor garden, saw some great magnolia blossoms and roses. Great spot for photos, a picnic, or spending time with family. Glad I stopped by!
