McDermott Library is the primary research and studies center at the University of Texas at Dallas. The library has more than 1 million volumes, 960,000 titles, 2 million microform units, videos, DVDs, maps, electronic books, electronic journals and government documents. Its special collections include the Wineburgh Philatelic Research Library, the Belsterling Collection and the History of Aviation Collection. McDermott Library also offers individual instruction sessions for research for students, faculty and staff. The McDermott Library is a United States and Texas state depository. The University of Texas at Dallas is a branch of the University of Texas college system and is located in Richardson, Texas. It has an enrollment of nearly 10,000 students.
