tripadvisorLocal here. Great concept, terrible customer service. For a place that advertises beers and a movie, good luck getting a drink. The service is abysmal. Employees will serve you - if they feel like it. They'll actively avoid customers.
MoreI have been trying to purchase tickets online for the double feature Deadpool 1&2 showings on Thursday. I tried at different times, days, and using different browsers, and kept getting the error No enabled ticket types. To me this sounds like they haven't released tickets for purchase yet, so I figured since it was a special deal I'd have to go in to buy the tickets. I showed up today and asked about them, and the bartender didn't seem to know much about it,he looked on the computer and couldn't see anything, but offered to get a manager to see if I could buy tickets there. When he did get a manager, the manager seemed upset when he told me You can only buy tickets online, and if it wont let you buy them online, then it must be sold out. I feel like his tone was rude and his answer could have been worded nicer. Instead, I felt that he was upset with me for even asking to buy tickets and wasting his time. In addition, he didn't seem to know whether or not they were sold out, which would be something that he would hopefully know since I've been trying for close to a week now to buy those tickets. This is the first time I have ever interacted with Brewvies and don't know how the system works. The error message indicates that someone didn't turn on online ticket purchasing for this double feature, which could be plausible seeing as how this is a special event of sorts, and the system may not be set up to handle this type of showing. It does not sound like they would be sold out. My husband and I were looking forward to kicking off our anniversary weekend with our first trip to Brewvies for a double feature for Deadpool. We'd heard wonderful things about it and were very excited, however after today we probably won't ever go there. We feel like the situation should have been handled better. One of the first things they teach you at any customer service job is that presentation is key even if you have bad news to give. I'm glad to see so many people have good experiences. Sadly first impressions are the biggest, and ours was horrible.
MoreMy daughter and I took in a movie matinee yesterday, and tried this place for the first time! Neat concept being able to have your drinks and eats right there with you in the theater. We chose the nice separate chairs & table in the back of the theater over the theater chairs...very comfortable! Pretty good menu variety and great beer choices! I’d go back for sure!
MoreNice people, great choices in beers, and menu items. Would've given 5 stars if the place was cleaner. Good prices 14 dollar pitchers, 7 dollar steins, and 4 dollar pints.
MoreAside from seeing an Indy Film here this place is loaded with Character!! It's almost like The Last Picture Show !! Nothing fancy, which adds to the flavor & the experience in addition to the movie that you came to see. You'll enjoy the experience - you can thank me later
