A sports Medicine specialist treats various injuries and conditions of the musculoskeletal system including acute sprains and strains, overuse and chronic injuries and pain, fractures, dislocations, osteoarthritis, and concussions. Our practice also perform the following procedures: X-rays, diagnostic ultrasound, fracture/dislocation care and management, including manipulation when necessary, casting, splinting, bracing, light wound care. We also perform the following injections: corticosteriod, Euflexxa (treatment of arthritis), Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP -treatment of tendonopathies and other non-healing soft tissue injuries).
