Just did a 3 hour drive from the Houston area to the Gruene Market Days. Great walking city with lots of booths with cheeses, dried meats and all kinds of things to buy for holiday gifts or non-holiday gifts. Very nice little Texas town to visit any time of the year.

Gruene Market Days is a unique addition to any weekend getaway. It's in the heart of historic Grune, Texas just walking distance from amazing restaurants and live bands every month! Grab your friends and meet all the talented vendors who are all handcrafted with unique products for everyone!

Love the little town of Gruene! But I must admit to being a bit disappointed at the vendors in Gruene Market Days. Some were good but many were too crafty and not very professionally done. Everyone was friendly and welcoming so I encourage you to wander through the tents. Especially on a beautiful day. It’s worth a look.

My husband and I enjoyed perusing the booths and checking out many of the impressive handcrafted wood, glass, leather, metal and jewelry. The show could only have 50% of the usual vendors and if it hadn’t been so terribly hot I could spent a LOT more time shopping!

If you visit Texas you must visit Gruene Texas. This quaint little town has much to offer. Market days are the third weekend of the month. Not to mention the wonderful stores, eateries, antiques and the famous Gruene Hall. We absolutely love this little town.
