tripadvisorThis would have been a nice stadium with a good football experience for the FAU/UConn game. The stadium is nice although the seats are lame as they are hard and have weird bumps in them. They do allow seat cushions without backs so consider bringing them. The canned music though was incessant and very loud to the point that my seat vibrated most of the game. It plays between every play, when there is a pause in action, etc. It even plays when the school band is playing which I thought was weird and disrespectful. It's more like a rock concert than a football game and my ears were ringing when we left. Bring ear protection especially if you are bringing children to the game. We parked in cash lot #2 and arrived 2.5 hours before the game with plenty of slots left. The lot never filled up. Fans just seemed to saunter in, there never was a rush at the gates. It could just be this game. Cash lots #1 and the one next door to it were mostly empty even though the paid attendance was listed at 12,000. The concessions leave much to be desired. There was only a popcorn stand open near section 237. I had to walk around to the other side of the stadium if I wanted actual food and drinks and I thought choices were pretty limited. Plenty of bathroom nears us but we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to our seats. There is an elevator in the vicinity but people with mobility problems struggled. We were there for a four hour game. Watch for obstructed seat views such as this one in the first row of section 237, seat #6. No traffic issues leaving the stadium back to our hotel. There are plenty of police cars around the stadium area but didn't see any police actually directing traffic in or our of the parking lots.
MoreGreat affordable place to watch some D1 football in the fall. Parking is great but the concessions could use some upgrades.
MoreThe FAU stadium is a great place to watch college football. Its is a family friendly arena and if you have an family or friends attending the school it is a great place to visit. I went with my team as a team bonding exercise and it was defiantly a positive experience.
MoreWe were on a tour for FAU for my daughter. The stadium was an added perk. Can't wait to see the Owls play there!
MoreGreat place to take in a college football game and watch the FAU owls! Great views from anywhere in this intimate stadium. Great family fun.
