Great location, only pain was we wanted to start by going down the chute which meant crossing the water, and then walking around the park and floating back down. There was a shortcut on the bridge but we were told we couldn’t take it since we didn’t have some city of new braunfels band. The river on our day was about 1.5 hours, had to wait about 15 mins for the bus, did the river twice. No frills but well worth it for the family. If you do want to do the tube chute easier, likely best to use one of the tube companies further up the river.

We booked the Juliette Tiny House here for the Memorial Day weekend and it was a blast. I hate to divulge such a great little hidden secret but I truly want them to succeed. This mom-and-pop business is family-owned and run, with dedicated employees like Brandon, Ella, and Josh, who were there every morning, watering plants, cleaning up, and getting ready hours before their gates even opened. The tiny house was adorable! It had a lot of space for its tiny-ness :) Very clean and organized, it had some basic items that you might need if you were cooking there (we meant to but ate out every night instead). Down sides or things they could change: 1) Not gonna lie; it was scary going up and down the ladder to the loft bed in the middle of the night. I noticed the Rayna's loft might be easier to navigate according to the pics; it has a railing and not as steep landing. That being said, it was THE most comfortable bed we've slept in, even up against 5 star hotels! 2) I know space is limited but the addition of a few more hooks around the place would be helpful for hanging clothes, towels, etc. 3) Please change the old plastic shower curtain! Cheap fix. 4) If you stay here, move the bed pillows from in front of the vent for better flow :) Overall, a fun time and a great deal. We'll do it again soon!!!!! PS There is no daily maid service or there may be for an extra fee; not sure!

Horrible horrible food all around table, with a bunch of 14 year old kids working there by themselves with prejudice attitudes. Wonder where they got that from... hmmm

We rented two cabanas at the Float In over Memorial Day weekend with our extended family and four kids ranging from 6 to 10.The people checking us in were very friendly and we had no issue getting set up in the cabanas. We got toobs and did the one hour float and were quickly picked up and shuttled back to camp.We then used the grill to cook burgers before heading back out for another float.Everything was very easy and convenient which is a plus for a large family with many kids! The people who didn’t want to float lounged in the cabana (they are well worth the money).The kids just hung out in the river in front of the cabanas and swam when not floating. We brought our own food and drinks but there was a restaurant area to order food as well.Will definitely be back for the next family float trip
