In the heart of downtown Seguin, right across from Central Park you can enjoy (no exaggeration here) the absolute best sandwich you will ever taste at Amy's & Cathy's Takeout. When we opened our shop a little over nine years ago, our idea was to provide excellent, melt-in-your-mouth food in a fun and unpretentious setting downtown. We felt that the downtown area had so much charm and appeal and also that is was in dire need of good food. After we settled on the site, the next task was to fine tune the menu. Wanting to keep it simple yet scrumptious was always a challenge and it still is. Overall, we think we have something for everybody and the most gratifying part is when people come to us after they've eaten and they tell us "that's the absolute best sandwich I've ever eaten". It really happens all the time. Of course we offer so much more than sandwiches. We make our soups fresh daily, and offer a variety of salads and desserts. All of our desserts are made from scratch in our kitchen. Our recipes are tried and true and guaranteed to please your palate. At Amy's & Cathy's Takeout, we just love good food and we love to see the pleasure on our customers' faces when they bite into one of our famous Ultimate Turkeys or Central Park Chicken Salad Sandwiches. Oh. Did we mention that we bake our own buns? It's true. But that's only one of the things that sets us apart from any other sandwich shop around. See for yourself and let us know what you think.

yelpIt's important to know this is a very tiny restaurant. If you don't snag a tiny table indoors you can brave the Texas heat and sit out on the sidewalk. There's also a pecan tree-shaded park square...
MoreUnfortunately Amy's and Kathy's no longer exists. However, Central Park Cafe serves some of their old recipes at the 100 block of West Court Street.
