For avid gardeners, it is always great to know of a good place to pick up plants that easily adapt to the gardening zone of the city you are visiting. It is even better if they have some plants you have never seen! This one is a very large operation that grows its' own plants for a huge number of greenhouses (over 40). The sales area is good sized, but the stock is not well marked with the names of the plants--you have to ask. The good news is that the prices are reasonable and they have depth in all the stock. The staff is helpful, but are difficult to find. They have a very large area devoted to succulents--ones I had not seen. They can help to identify plants that will grow in neighboring zones and with advice for over wintering. The plants are available in different sizes, which makes it easy to get them home! Our friends have used them for years and we will keep them in mind for future purchases. Parking is a little limited and loading is a little awkward, but not a real problem. The double layer carts are really a convenient way to shop if you are buying multiple plants. The indoor shop has a big selection of seeds and many nice garden objects.
