Although admission to Sebastopol House is free, tour hours are somewhat limited. The tour guide, however, is personable and knowledgeable. He gave great details about every aspect of the building even though there were only two of us on the tour. There is a lot of history in this place.

Robert Gray, our tour guide, was terrific. His ability to weave an incredible number facts into fascinating stories made our visit enjoyable and educational. Seriously, come to listen to Robert.

If you want History of Seguin this is the place. The landscaping is very beautiful. Large Pink rose bushes line the 250 LF white picket fence.The House sits back hundreds of feet, curb side pictures us a must! The well kept side walk leading to the Sebastopol Home built by a brother for his sister makes it easy for all to meander to and around d the Mansion. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy the shaded picnic table(s) area outback. As for the home it housed many in this 3 room home. The roof is copper clad to catch rain water for indoor use!

We drove by, but the site was closed. The building looks very interesting--cement structure-- with a classical design. I am writing it up to be a reminder to stop here on the next visit. The review look interesting for the inside as well.
