Abe Knepp was born and raised in a "Horse and Buggy" Amish family in rural Indiana. He was brought up being taught the value of quality craftsmanship and good work ethics. It has been over 22 years since our first retail establishment and now the second generation is here. Abe Knepp brings with him technical advances such as computer aided kitchen design software and internet showrooms. Couple that with timeless value of dedicated Amish cabinet craftsmen and you get a wonderful combination function, beauty, and quality in your kitchen and bathroom. Amish Made Heirlooms continues to be a small family owned business that prides itself in making available some of the best Amish craftsmanship in the Southern Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky region. Our woodshop is a single family operation with the woodshop located next to the home of the shop foremen. Our shop foremen Darvin Knepp has been building cabinets since he was a teenager. The Knepp family has over 20 years of experience in the trade. Next to raising their growing families, building cabinets continues to be their greatest joy. More than just an occupation it is their livelihoods and enduring family legacies.
