For store owner Kat Balmos, home is where the history is. As a fifth generation New Braunfelser, her family's roots are right where her shop is: in the heart of the city. When Kat's great-great-great-grandfather came to New Braunfels from Germany in 1845, he claimed a piece of land labeled lot 59 and built a legacy that has prospered for generations. Today, Kat's store pays tribute to that piece of land, to her family, and to the town she loves. Her shop is full of locally made goods that you won't find anywhere . Every item has a story, whether it's old or new. From jewelry made by local artisans to vintage apparel to vinyl records to retro furniture, we're all about shopping, loving, and living local.
