tripadvisorIt's a pickle place,, and its great! Different varieties of pickles for sale. Also some pickle merchandise that's fun. All the pickles are made on site. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their trade. A must for your pickle cravings!
MoreOkay, the pickles are really good but the escabeche is exceptional. I've had this relish all over the country and this is the best. It comes very coarse which is perfect for salads and such but give it a little chop and it's perfect for the best fish tacos you can imagine. Their sauerkraut is also excellent in it's simplicity. Cook it on high to char and add sliced kielbasa, caraway seed and a little dark beer. nuff said.
MoreInteresting place. They make different types of pickles, relish, and cabbage. Did not have a large selection. We were allowed to taste almost everything they have for sale. Everything I tasted was very good. Bought a few kinds of pickles to take home. If you like pickles its worth finding this place. Had trouble finding parking at first. They do have parking directly behind their shop.
MoreThey have no idea how to make a pickle. Can get better in a glass jar at any grocery store, without paying their silly prices.
MoreIt was great to see a fermenting store! I only wish they were closer to my home...I'm 300 miles away. I am glad I had my ice chest to bring some pickles home. My husband likes the hot and spicy pickles. The sweet and spicy pickles are good too. I also liked the fermenting stones made from a local potter. Nice place. Friendly people.
