First, I want to say that the young lady working the front desk was wonderful and she was very sweet, even though I was very unhappy with the rest of the hotel. It's just not in great shape. It looks good on the surface, but once you really start looking, it looks like it 's falling apart. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, the door frame was coming off, and the bathroom door was missing a part of the wood. The bed looked nice, but with all other things considered, I didn't really feel all that comfortable sleeping there. As a single woman, I felt intimidated by the amount of men staying (living?) there. They were all over the place, hanging out on the railings, smoking. In fact, when I went to my room, there was a man with the door to his room wide open, sitting in a chair between his room and mine, smoking. I was in a non-smoking room because I am HIGHLY allergic to smoke. Because he was so close, and not contained in his smoking room, I was miserable and couldn't breathe when I woke up. I was supposed to stay 2 nights, but left the next morning. I must say that Hotels.com was wonderfully understanding about my situation and refunded my stay for the 2nd night. I honestly thought I was going to have to fight for that! So, kudos to Hotels.com! I will NEVER stay in this hotel again, but I will continue to book through Hotels.com.

According to the price they charge, its a ripoff given quality of rooms, the noise and cleanliness of rooms. The only reason they are still in business is the situation with hotels in Mildand and price difference others charge during weekdays. Not coming back.

Traveling through Texas with my wife. Was disappointed with the room for what we were charged. Television only worked on a few channels. Called the front desk and was told to walk to the office to get another one. Asked her to bring it but she could not leave the desk as she was the only one working. In the morning after getting coffee I asked for a new remote. An attendant at the desk provided a new remote without batteries. The door lock system works one out of every ten attempts. Dusty fridge and microwave. Nice bed. Advertised as nicely remodeled. You be the judge. We were exhausted and committed to getting a good nights sleep otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed.

This place was comparable to a motel 6. Felt safe. Breakfast was a waste of time. I felt like they just thew stuff out there and called in breakfast. When I called to see if it was a hot breakfast they said yest. Well you could make your on waffles and heat up pig in a blanket. But that was about it. Service was friendly. Room was clean. I would stay again if and only if I was passing through going somewhere and didn’t really care about stay in Midland for a long period of time.

My husband works out of town and stays here when he's in the area. We stayed a week with him. It's very quiet and nobody bothers you. The hotel is older so you don't expect it to be as nice as it is on the inside. Staff were great! Pillows suck! I will warn you the elevator/s were absolutely disgusting! The floors aren't too bad but could use some cleaning. Parking is terrible. Water gets hot which is unusual for a hotel! But all in all it's a decent hotel with good rates.
