After a long day of traveling I wanted to relax and watch tv. The large desk lamp is nailed into the desk right in front of the TV. Craziest thing for a hotel room or anywhere.

MoreHyatt Place Washington DC National Mall hotel quality is outstanding compared to a nearby hotel. My decision to change for Hyatt Place was a good decision. The staff showed empathy and helped me to check in earlier after a horrible night at another hotel because of the train traffic. My room was cleaner, quieter. Besides my bed I had sofa area that made my room inviting. A great breakfast was included and the dining room on the third floor was also an inviting place to start the day. Hyatt Place is well located near the Metro station, in particular the Silver line that connects to Dulles Airport. It is at walking distance from the National Mall and the Wharf with its riverview and marina.
MoreThe hotel was a great location for us to get to the National Mall area and go museum exploring. The free breakfast had a good selection of food. All the customer service was excellent, and the hotel was pretty quiet. There are not many restaurants nearby in that area.
MoreAs a member, we receive a very nice room upgrade and free bottles of water every day. The hotel is nice and clean; however, they don't have room service and their breakfast is just typical hotel breakfast. Overall a very good experience.
