We have had two wonderful stays at Morgan's rest, once in the pool room and once in the twin bed room. Both are elegant with private baths and all of the comforts of home. Alix is so gracious and always makes us feel welcome. Breakfast is a real treat in her elegant, historic dining room. We look forward to our next trip down and stay with her. Alix was a fantastic host. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! She even gave my daughter a present when she found out I had a 3 year-old. She is a very interesting person as well--a true Renaissance woman (she runs marathons, is a bee-keeper, and sails). Her home made muffins and bread were excellent as well. Lodgings were comfortable and clean. Would not hesitate to return.

Stayed in the Pool Room while visiting New England. Got in later than expected but was greeted with the happy owner. The room was nice - bathroom was nice too. Breakfast was good - pumpkin muffins, bagels, fruit, and yogurt. We were happy with this stay.

Lovely B&B. Home is so lovely. Just love homes that were built in the 1800's and still decorated they were they were back then. Room was large, bed was comfortable. Bathroom is good sized. Alix was a great hostess and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was good, buffet style. All in all a great place to stay. Just a note, there are a lot of step in this home.
