Reviews
tripadvisorThis hotel is wonderful. From the lobby to your room nothing was unkempt. The lobby offers several seating areas along with a fireplace you can sit in. The room is large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and shower. The rooms are made up by housekeeping every day. You do not have to ask for it to be done. We ordered room service and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The plates were still Avery hot just like you would’ve gotten in a restaurant. The staff has been friendly and helpful. They try to remember your name and call you by it. If comings to Blooming MN I would highly recommend staying here. Oh did I mention it is connected to Mall of America. It is less than a 5 minute walk.
MoreDefinitely the nicest hotel in the area if not all of MSP. Great lounge with various snacks and light bites. Room itself was very well maintained. Parking was a reasonable cost in a secure underground area. Access to the MoA was very convenient. 4PM check-out as a Platinum was given without issue. Initially had an issue with my first room but the staff handled it very nicely. Gym was absolutely phenomenal and the pool looked extremely inviting and was never busy. Only critiques were: A/C thermostat was one of those Eco ones where it did not constantly keep pumping out cold air via the fan, instead I had to wait for about 14 hours for the room to be at a suitable temperature (which didn't help with the heatwave this last weekend). Additionally I kind of expected to get a better upgrade than just a higher floor as a Platinum but it was fine in the end. It also came off like you're heavily encouraged to have breakfast in the lounge and not in the restaurant.
MoreLoved that the Mall of Ametica was attached to the hotel. I coukd walk out the door, get steps around the mall, then swipe my room card at the entrance to the hotel and be right back inside the Marriott. Breakfast was fabulous and service was wonderful. Definitely to notch.
MoreIf I could I’d give this hotel an award for outstanding customer service & by far the best staff I’ve ever encountered as a whole. Understood my situation with my account having to shut cards off due to fraud, they went above & beyond & I am so grateful. All employees amazing but the top of the line is Kristin, Cassidy, Elly or Lilly (sorry), Patience, & Patrick! God bless them & this is my first ever review since 2008 with over 2000 nights with Marriott. That’s how amazing they are. Highly Highly recommend & hope they all manage their own in time
MoreMakes you pay for WiFi in 2026. Not the money, but the annoyance. Checking in should be as easy as possible especially at this price range. But nooo you gotta go through bonvoy remember your password or be like me and not remember what variation it is and bumble through it for 10 minutes or pay a the highway goblin toll price. What a horrible way to start a check in. Rinky dink highway motel has better experience with the WiFi.
