This walkway located in a lovely area of Boston has been hosting 100 special guests since August 8. These visitors are the elephants featured in the public art installation known as the Great Elephant Migration. The 100 life-sized elephant sculptures are made from lantana plant stems by indigenous artisans of the Nilgiri Hills, India. The four sizes on view: calf; adolescent; matriarch; and tusker are awe-inspiring. Each takes 4 - 6 months to create and they’re for sale (check the Great Elephant Migration website for details). This magnificent herd is scheduled to depart soon (according to their website the last day is Sept. 13). Even if you only have a chance to drive by, I recommend doing so.

Beautiful walk down a tree-lined avenue. Great way to take a leisurely walk, enjoy the architecture, and get away from the crowds and busy downtown.

This is a beautiful area in Boston. There is walkway through the centre of the road lined with trees. There are lovely houses either side of the road and when we went there all the magnolia trees were in flower and looked stunning.A really lovely walk .

Delightful walk and did this one a few times. Looked amazing, but imagine it looks even better when the leaves start changing colour. The statues/monuments along the way are all tasteful and interesting.
