I earned a master of music (M.M.) degree from Kent State University, and a bachelor of music (B.M.) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I was awarded the 2010 division achievement award in piano pedagogy and organ/harpsichord. Acceptance into summer music institutes in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, and Vienna, Austria provided me with invaluable experiences, and the broadening of my musical horizons and musicianship. I am a member of the Ohio Music Teachers Association (OMTA), an affiliate of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
