tripadvisorCarolyn was amazing! We throughly enjoyed her company during our wine tastings. She also ordered lunch picked it up on our way to one winery and we had a picnic and wine you could buy a bottle or by the glass. We had three great winery’s and three beautiful views and great wine. I would definitely recommend you call her to pick you up from the airport or take you to the winery or just downtown for dinner!
MoreWheels in Time provides a great service. Carolyn was prompt and organized, it made the day easy and relaxing. She took us to three super wineries. She has a wealth of knowledge to share that made the day very interesting! I would highly recommend Wheels in Time for exploring wine in the Willamet valleyThanks for a glorious day, Carolyn.
MoreLet me start off my saying Carolyn was very helpful in the planning process. She helped us pick our itinerary and provided a recommendations for another transportation company when she was not available. Unfortunately the day of our wine tasting I was not impressed. She was rude and rushed us throughout our day. We had exchanged multiple emails leading up to our day to include wineries, times and lunch options. Carolyn told us to order our lunch from a particular place and she would pick up on the way. When she picked us up she had picked up lunches from somewhere else which was not what we had planned for. She did drive to Red Hill Market to pick up our salads which we had paid for. At the end of our day she charged us for the sandwiches she purchased despite her mistake. Therefore leaving us to pay over $60 for lunches (party of 2). While we were at the 3rd winery she asked us to shorten our scheduled time because the 4th and final winery requested we come in earlier. This was a bit odd but we did accommodate. We were disappointed to have to leave the Ken Wright winery early as it was a fun and enjoyable place. Now onto the 4th winery. Carolyn took us to the wrong winery. We had a 3:30 tasting scheduled at Carlton Winemakers and she took us to Carlton Hill. We were extremely disappointed and not the experience we had planned for. Our tasting was in an old barn which was on the grounds of the winemakers home. We were the only ones there. There was no vibe and the place was run down and definitely not what we were expecting and a very different experience from Carlton Winemakers. Unfortunately this was our last day in wine country so we were not able to visit Carlton Winemakers at a different time. I highly suggest you verbally review your itinerary with Carolyn before you start your day. Overall we enjoyed a day of wine tasting and highly recommend using a transportation services to truly enjoy the experience.
MoreWe took an all-day wine tour with Carolyn in late December and we're so glad we chose her company. She arrived right on time and had snacks and waters in the car for us. She helped us pick our itinerary for the day and had great info on the region, wineries, history of the area and happily answered all of our (many) questions. She was super nice and we really enjoyed going from winery to winery with her. When a couple wineries didn't work out she had great backup recommendations ready. She also had a great lunch suggestion. Highly recommend taking a wine tour with her if you're planning to visit the region.
MoreCarolyn was AMAZZZING! We had the best time being shuttled by her to and from wineries for 3 days! She was very gracious, knowledgeable and willing to take us anywhere! We learned a great deal and she is a great tour guide for the area. We also asked her to drive us back to Portland for to the airport. I highly recommend her services and her assistance with helping you select the best wineries to tour! Our group of 4 can't wait to go back to the area and see her again!
