This place was on my to do list - I've heard great things about the birding there and wanted to also see the butterflies - but be aware they are closed on Mondays and are only open a few hours on Sundays. So I never got a chance to visit.

its a great place to soak up some nature and is located on a 100 old orange grove. just walk around and enjoy the sights.

It's literally a walk in the park. There were some interesting plants to see. I wouldn't go again but it was OK.

Nice, small facility with easy trails. Highlight was seeing the golden crowned warbler which in itself is 5 stars. The one thing preventing the excellent review was the amount of vulture droppings from the seemingly hundreds of them roosting in the tree tops. Some parts of the trails smelled like we were walking through a bird cage. Hopefully it's not like this year round

A great little refuge that often has unusual bird visitors to add to your bird count. Make a point to stop by and enjoy.
