We stayed at this charming little rustic resort for three nights. It is so quaint, interesting, and just brimming with antiques and collectibles. Carl and Terri make you feel more like old friends or family than paying guests. We brought our dogs, and they were greeted with treats and bandannas in a basket that also included snacks, coffees, and farm merch for us. They provide so many personal special touches to make you feel immediately right at home. We explored Silver Springs. the Ocala National Forest, a few local attractions, and had two fabulous dinners from Rocco’s, just a few minutes down the road. There is also a grocery store right there, which is really handy.Although, old and rustic, everything is clean and very tidy. There is WiFi, and you can access your favorite shows on a smart t.v.We had commitments back home, or we surely would have stayed an extra night. However, we will trek back up again in the future.

The Griffin Ranch We came to Griffin ranch right outside of Ocala during Hurricane Milton to escape Tampa Bay. What an awesome place. Great host, Great cabins and such a relaxing atmosphere. These people go out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed. And they really care.We would recommend Griffin Ranch for couples or family reunions. Lots of spaceThe cabins are all different sizes.. very comfortable, full kitchen, we brought our own food and had cookouts every day. This helped alot with cost and not losing food from evacuating from the hurricane. The area is beautiful. Old trees lots of land. There are trails every where to explore. We even saw wild turkey. Our pup loved all the space to run and exploreThe owner/host Carl & Terri cooked chili and made some delicious bloody Mary's at the Cafe. Terri & Carl spent time talking to us & telling us all about Griffin Ranch and the area & Great storiesCarl checked on us several times to make sure we were comfortable . He knew how nervous I was about the hurricane down in Tampa Bay.. he reassured me we were safe here.. That brought peace to myself & my husband. We were very safe

This was such a FREAKING Great place to get away to. We had a wonderful time hiking in the area and the cabins are so cosy we didn't even care that we had rain on one of our days there. We saw Manatees in the springs and Monkeys in the trees at Silver Springs too.

The best environment to relax, reflect, energize. You feel like royalty. Family owned and they make you feel as familyThe only bad thing was when we left. There is a lot to do in the area. But why?

I just got home from my stay at Griffin Ranch. Honestly, Carl and Terri go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It was quiet and very relaxing, the bed and pillows were super comfy, the shower was different but very cool. I got home and immediately started talking about going back. Make sure to visit the horses!
