The room and hotel is not clean! Floor is dirty, shower had hair in it upon checking in. They “cleaned” our room but really only took our towels and replaced only some. The staff in the evening have very poor customer service skills. The young man sat behind the counter on his phone and very unfriendly. I would absolutely never stay here again.

This was the wort hotel we have ever experienced. We booked this hotel a year ago so we would have it for family weekend. We checked in online while spending time with our daughter, so we didn’t get there until 11:15. Upon arrival we were told there were “no rooms”. WTF?! We had already booked and checked in? The guy said they were renovating two floors so there are no more rooms. They NEVER contacted us to let us know. My husband asked the guy at the desk what we should do and he was told “good luck”. We had our 13 yr old daughter with us and no where to stay. 3 MORE families were told the same after us! So who knows how many families this happened to. Do NOT book at this hotel. It has awful reviews and I should have read them all thoroughly before booking a year ago. I give this awful place negative stars.

Terrible service all around. We booked our reservation a year ago and upon arrival from an out of state flight, we were told no rooms were available due to renovations. Additionally, we were made to stand outside the hotel at nighttime instead of waiting 5 minutes for our daughter to arrive to pick us up and try to make reservations elsewhere during FSU’s parents weekend. We clearly stated we were awaiting our ride and the staff member yelled at us that he had to go home and we needed to go outside. No notice was given to us about renovations prior to showing up at the hotel. If we could give this hotel a -1000 review it would still be too high of a rating.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. Wyndham sent us multiple text messages before arrival encouraging us to complete online check-in, only for us to be told at the front desk that online check-in was not honored. Why offer a service repeatedly if the hotel does not actually recognize it?The room was significantly overpriced, apparently due to the FSU Family Day event. Charging $300+ per night creates a reasonable expectation of a quality experience, but this hotel fell far short. The room had a nice flat-screen TV, but unfortunately, there was no usable TV service. A Comcast channel guide was displayed, but selecting channels repeatedly resulted in a No Service message. We ultimately had to watch Netflix on our phone. There wasn't even a microwave in the room. The check-in process was unacceptable. We waited more than 45 minutes while over 25 guests stood in line. Only two front-desk employees appeared to be handling the crowd, and at times one employee would leave for approximately 10–15 minutes to assist other guests, making an already frustrating situation even worse. For $300+ per night, this property does not deliver an experience that remotely justifies the price. In my opinion, the accommodations and service were closer to what I would expect from a budget motel than a hotel charging premium-event rates.Management and ownership need to take a serious look at how this property is being operated, particularly during high-demand events. The combination of excessive pricing, poor check-in service, unavailable TV service, lack of basic room amenities, and failure to honor the advertised online check-in process made this stay a complete disappointment.I will not stay here again, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall, this was a nightmare of a stay and one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have encountered.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly recommend that travelers consider other options, particularly while the property is undergoing renovations. The hotel is currently in the middle of a renovation, but based on my experience, it does not appear to be ready to accommodate guests. My room had no accessible electrical outlet near the desk because the desk had been installed directly over the outlet, making it impossible to plug in the coffee maker or use the desk as intended. There was also no Wi-Fi available, which made it impossible for me to work from the room. The layout and accessibility were also very inconvenient. Upon checking in, there are stairs in the main lobby, and there is no straightforward way to get luggage to the elevators. Guests are required to go outside, use their key card to enter another part of the building, and access the elevator from a lower level. During my stay, it was pouring rain, so this required walking through puddles with my luggage just to reach the elevator. The customer service was perhaps the most disappointing part of the experience. I went to the front desk and waited nearly 30 minutes for an employee to return. During that time, other guests were also waiting for assistance, including someone trying to purchase food and beverages and another guest waiting to check in. When the employee finally returned, there was no apology or explanation for the lengthy absence.I explained the issues with my room and requested to cancel my reservation. Rather than offering to move me to another room, have someone inspect the outlet, address the Wi-Fi issue, or otherwise attempt to resolve the situation, I was simply told that I could cancel but would be charged a $150 cancellation fee.Because the front desk employee said he was unable to waive the fee, I contacted the hotel's customer service department. I was given a case number, and the front desk employee told me he had documented the situation for his manager, who was not on-site.Despite all of this, the reservation was not cancelled, and I was ultimately charged for the entire three-night stay. When I contacted customer service again, they attempted to call the hotel directly on my behalf. According to the customer service representative, the hotel staff stated that all rooms had electrical outlets and refused to issue a refund. Even more concerning, the hotel reportedly hung up on the customer service representative from Wyndham during the call.I understand that renovations can create temporary inconveniences, but guests should still be provided with basic functionality, clear communication, and professional customer service. In this case, I experienced none of those things.I would not recommend staying at this property until the renovations are completed and the hotel has addressed these significant operational and customer-service issues.
