tripadvisorMitch was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and most of all FUN!He is a fantastic guy and a stellar guide. HIGHLY recommend. We laughed all day long.
MoreWe make an annual girls trip to Big Sky every year and have been using Big Sky Shuttle for the past 8 years to transport us from Bozeman to Moonlight Basin. The service is amazing and very accommodating. We loved our driver Virgil for many years who has retired now and Mitch was our driver this year. Mitch was amazing! Not only he extremely personable his knowledge of skiing , Big Sky history, food, wildlife and Yellowstone was so interesting and enjoyable!
MoreCould not have asked for a better trip to Yellowstone! Our guide Mitch went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. He accommodated each generation - those over 60, those over 40, and those under 10 with ease!!! Not an easy feat considering the 10+ hours spent in the park each day…Day one was the Upper Loop. Day two was the Lower Loop. Mitch’s conversation was engaging, educational and humorous to boot. He is a safe driver, with the eyes of a hawk, easily spotting wildlife, while in the middle of telling Yellowstone history or stories. We learned so much while in his care. We accomplished all that we wanted to see on our trip (except the grizzly bear - but you can’t have it all in two days!). I would highly recommend you schedule your tour with Big Sky/Discovery Yellowstone and ask for Mitch!!
MoreMy partner and I absolutely loved our tour of the lower loop of Yellowstone Park! Our guide, Mitch, was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the wildlife, geographical features, and ecology of Yellowstone is nothing short of encyclopedic. His love for Yellowstone and its preservation shine through so clearly in how he speaks about the park, and it made our experience of this beautiful place even more special. We hoped to see a lot of wildlife along with the famous sites like Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic—and with Mitch we were able to see herds of bison, elk, coyotes, and even a mama grizzly and her cub. We learned so much about these amazing creatures from Mitch; he truly should have his own show on Animal Planet. :) We could not have asked for a kinder or more insightful guide. We would highly recommend touring Yellowstone with Mitch and Discovery Yellowstone!
MoreI cannot say enough good things about Big Sky Shuttle (Discovery Yellowstone Tours) if you are planning a trip to Yellowstone. We had never been before and Danica helped us plan which loop would be best for what we wanted to see. We did the Lower Loop, which included waterfalls, Old Faithful and other geysers, and lots of animals. Mitch was our guide and he was so fun and SO knowledgeable about the park. He took us places we never would have thought of - like to be at Artists Point at a certain time when the sun was overhead so you can see the rainbow of colors in the mist. We were able to see wolves, elk, deer and bison. We opted in for the breakfast and lunch and they were both so yummy. These tours are well worth the money - it saves you from just wandering around the park not knowing which way to go first. We are planning a return trip to Big Sky next summer and will be using Discovery Yellowstone (and hopefully Mitch!!) for a tour of the Upper Loop. You will not be disappointed!
