Fun experience with 4 year old grandson. Funny it was called a Musical since there was no singing. Live band was playing. Short program about 40 mins which is perfect for young children. Very cool old theatre.

They put on a small production that we took our niece and nephew to a few years ago. Very clean facilities, really cool old building (that is well maintained), and a great theater for hosting small shows. Very close to the audience so it's great for children to dance in front of the stage and for the actors to interact with the crowd.

I have taken my children to many great, interactive productions here. The children usually sit on the floor -- while the adults are seated. Often the performers move through the audience.

Always a pleasant place to see the kids dance, parking is a little challenging, but it is downtown Austin.

I have been here a few times for plays and parties. The ticket office is rude and unfriendly. Also, after a play I stepped outside and my daughter had to use the bathroom. They would not let us back in to use the restroom! We took maybe 2 steps out of the building. They refused. How do you show plays catering for children and be so rude about using the restroom. It was not like 3 hours after the show. Other people were still leaving. I'll never go back and I don't recommend it for plays that cater to kids.
