For cruising around on Town Lake, the best way to go is on a Capital Cruise. Have dinner with friends or just your date, while watching the beauty of Austin's downtown from the peaceful water. Sightseeing tours are available along with canoes and kayaks; or you can take out paddle boats for an outdoor activity with the family. So whether it is a romantic evening for two or a day on the lake with kids, this service can meet your needs. Furthermore, the Hyatt caters for these cruises and serves wonders like shrimp pasta, beef or chicken fajitas, to name a few. They will work with your company or group to customize a menu if you desire.

tripadvisorAbsolutely gorgeous night on Lady Bird Lake. The bats were the star of the show, but Gabriel’s playlist of Texas music interspersed with interesting bat facts, the sun setting on the the water, and the beautiful Austin skyline were the icing on the cake. Don’t miss a chance to do this.
MoreWhat a unique experience, well worth the $. Captain of the pontoon was a great tour guide, gave us a thorough de-brief of all the waterfront towers, the egrets along the shore, Zilker Park & Stevie Ray Vaughn’s statue. He had us positioned perfectly for the bats taking flight, which occupied us for easily 15 minutes.
MoreThis experience was great! A must see if you’re in the area. Unbelievable how many bats there are, Captain Beck was great giving the tour of the city skyline and he got us to the perfect place to see the flight, very knowledgeable about the area and the bats. It’s inexpensive and well worth the trip. Only issue was finding it, go thru the Hilton to get to the river, paid parking. If you’re early the hotel doesn’t mind if you hang out in the area, would definitely do again!
MoreAfter a little over a decade of visiting Austin, we finally made the time to see the bats. It was very cool and the price can’t be beat, it’s absolutely worth it. We had a great time with Capitan Alec! We learned about history, architecture, recent events, and biology. It was the perfect mix of entertainment and educational experience. On top of that, the skyline and the sunset view are unrivaled.
MoreGreat experience. Highly recommend. They give you a voucher for parking at the Hyatt hotel so it’s $20. Loved seeing all the bats
