A veritable warehouse for bibliophiles, this two-level University Co-op store offers two complete worlds of books. Textbooks for University of Texas line shelves in the basement, and, on the first floor are titles for those outside the ivory tower. So shop upstairs for novels, popular history, children's books and self-help, and venture below for more cerebral and scholarly fare. UT fans will find a broad selection of Longhorn merchandise, from caps to socks and everything in between. A great selection of school supplies is also offered. You will even find items like engineering compasses and photography paper.

tripadvisorIf you are in Austin and want to shop for some Texas Longhorns gear, this is your place. This is 3 floors of clothes, jackets, toys, and just about anything else you can think of.All about the University of Texas Longhorns.
MoreStop here at least once a year while visiting relatives. Everything for the UT fan on two floors. All official gear as well. No knockoffs. Not cheap but they have everything and all in stock. Parking is free in the structure behind the store.
MoreOther than parking, a great place to buy University of Texas clothing and lots more. Still pricey compared to some places, like Sue Patrick’s on Burnett, but really large selection (which you’d expect at the University’s primary store location.
MoreFresh and clean store that is significantly different that the store that I knew in the late 70's. Inventory seemed well organized but I admit that the prices of this longhorn fan gear was a shock. I understand that every college kid want a t-shirt but $70 ?? Granted, they have some so-so t shirts for only $25-shirts that will end up a dust cloths. A polo style shirt goes for $50 to $115 !! Seriously? Glad my kids didn't come here. Been wanting a new longhorn hat and found a style that I liked on their web-site. Was getting ready to pull the trigger when spouse advised we were going to Austin. Great! Save on shipping. Get it in person. Went to the store. A couple of very nice sales people helped us on the hunt for this style hat. To facilitate things, I pulled it up on my phone where the associates could see the photo and the sales price. A search continued until one of the sales associates got on their computer, did a search and found the correct hat. Yes, it was on sale. No, it was a different color and bad quality. With so many theme related products, one would think that on line postings would be carefully reviewed. I am soooo thankful I did not order online. It would have been upsetting to receive the actual junk hat that was on sale and go through the hassle of the return. A clear example of a bait & switch. Not wanting to purchase the junk even for half price, I chose to pay full price for the item in the picture. Management seems to care less as the incorrect posting is on their web site days later. Thankfully, the full price for a hat wasn't much. I feel the store has shamefully evolved and does a disservice by dangling EXPENSIVE fan gear for the kids --- no, the parents, really --- to buy. Sadly, this is the first time I have been here since 1981 and will probably be the last.
MoreEverything University of Texas. Can get things elsewhere for less $ ... but not this sort of selection/breadth of stuff!
