This closely supervised kid's center is perfect for allowing children to open that urge to just go crazy. The center is full of activities perfect for the little ones. Arts, crafts, games and general kid fun are all part of the curriculum. Twice a week when the weather is appropriate, the kids walk down to Shipe, a public pool, for a quick dip to cool off. So pack up the kids with a swimsuit and let them romp and stomp at the Hancock Recreation Center.

Was visiting town from NOLA and it was colder than usual so I had to play golf in jeans—which I have never done. It was not an issue at the course. Played with a 12 year old and a 6 year old. Perfect course for the youngsters. Great customer Service and greens were in good shape. The course had good ungulation. Right in the middle of town.

MoreThis 9 hole golf course is no competition for the famous courses at Barton Creek ... but it's about 10% of the price. The staff are friendly, and the maintenance is ok ... we played in March ... not sure how it would hold up after a typical Texas summer. Holes are fairly wide open and not too long. Lots of kids learning the game. If you are a grumpy 8-handicapper ... avoid this place. If you just want a quick, cheapo family golf experience, it's hard to beat.
