on Avenue B at 44th st, there is a small old grocer store. Don't let it fool you. This place is a gem of a lunch spot! Great homemade sandwiches made old style. I highly recommend you try this spot!

We stayed at a B&B nearby, so it was a nice area go frequent and dine. Very comfortable and access is easy on Waze.

Hyde Park in Austin, TX is a great way to get to know a part of the city in an easy way. If you have kids, you can take them to Shipe Park to get some energy out and then head walking to Julio's Mexican cafe for some chicken jalapeno nachos lunch and Mexican martinis sitting outside. It is a great way to see tons of local hipsters too. The area is filled with moms doing their daily kid entertainment which it may involve the park, some stroller walking, then some lunch at Julio's. Or some breakfast, coffee and croissant at Quacks, then some walking, then the park, or some coffee at Dolce Vita then some park. On sunny days, its awesome easy inexpensive fun.
