A surprising amount of displays to see for a small town museum. Very helpful and accommodating staff opened up the different exhibits so we could see them. Cute gift store.

Friendly staff and a wide variety of exhibits make this site very worth the visit. I camped at the National Recreation Area to the north of Panhandle (free) and had a lovely outing down to visit this museum.

This museum has a good collection that represents what early Texan life was like in the panhandle. There is even a train car that kids and adults can explore and a dugout house. It's free/by donation and well worth the stop!

This is a fantastic little museum! So much to see and explore. They have an authentic caboose that you can climb inside (even all the way to the crow's nest!), a replica of a dug out home, many, many fun exhibits and a lovely, warm and welcoming staff full of great information. Definitely swing through the area and visit! Admission is free but donations are accepted.
