If you are into western riding or leather works, this is a treasure you must have visited, when being in Amarillo! The staff is very friendly and we were talking and looking around for over an hour. We were showed around in the shop, where saddles and other leatherwork was work on. This business exists for over 100 years! They also carry bits, spurs, ropes, and tack. Good quality but nothing fancy. We loved this store.

We called into this family run business on our way out of Amarillo. We were not in the market for a saddle as it wouldn't fit in our luggage anyway! We had heard about this shop and having a farrier in the family we thought it would be worth a visit.Richard Oliver, the proprietor, greeted us and took a great interest in us as we were from Ireland. His family business has been running for 100 years and the whole of the team take great pride in their hand made saddles. Mr Oliver took us into the workshop and showed us around the premises explaining to us how they start to plan a saddle and then put it together. Lovely people and great to see that such pride is still taken in producing a work of art that will last a lifetime. Well worth a visit if even for the smell of the leather and you can always pick up something less expensive than the bespoke saddle.

Family owned business for 100 years. They have many used saddles for sale but an apparent 12 month waiting list for custom designs. They have a nice selection of western bits, Spurs, ropes and tach but nothing excessive. The staff was helpful but not pushy.

I really enjoyed this saddle shop because of its variety and the friendliness of the owner/staff. I was very pleased when they allowed me to go into their shop where the saddles are made. They took time to explain their jobs and various questions that we had on how the saddles are built. I would love to own one of their saddles someday!
