The store front presents as a tiny book store. False front. The place is quite sizeable, with a second floor and deep first floor. Excellent selection, including a cart of dropped-off books that are sold for $1 or so, with proceeds going to local charity. As with all of my favorite independent bookstores, there was a copy of Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning, and the owner knew exactly where to find it --- the last copy for the week. And a really tuned-in manager made for a super experience.

I was pleased to see that a business had opened and is operating in what had been the Moby Dickens bookstore location. They offer a good selection of historical and New Mexico related books at reasonable prices. I know it can be a challenge to compete with Internet and big box store competition. I really enjoy finding these stores in operation and try to support them when I can. Good luck to them and I hope to return.
