Stopped into this place on a recent First Friday event, where the galleries are open late on a Friday evening. They were very crowded, and were working with Springhouse Brewing to offer some interesting beer samples. They were displaying many local artists, and it was very interesting just to peruse the different works of art on the walls. Also made it upstairs where at least one artist has her studio, and we were able to see her artistic talents, and discuss the Royal Square redevelopment going on in this part of York. We were very impressed with everything that we saw, and we'll plan to be back again to see more local art displays.
