Fine hotel and I have stayed here many times but will never again. The problem is nightclub/bar next door that is operating a nightclub with very laud dance music in parking lot. It’s echoing for a mile or more well after 10:30pm. Called down to front desk and they had no concern with the massive noise being produced and disturbance to customers staying in rooms. These rooms on game weekends are above $600.+ for not being able to rest at 11:00 at night is ridiculous and should be a concern to management. I will never stay here again.

We stayed at Hyatt Place Lubbock in room 230, and honestly, the experience was terrible. The hotel looks nice and modern from the outside, but the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. We found long brown hairs on the towels and linens, mold on the shower curtain, rusted shower curtain rings, broken blinds, a TV remote that didn’t work, and an iron that stained our shirt. The floors creaked, we could hear people above us, and the Wi-Fi was terrible.What really bothered us was returning around 11 PM to a group of intoxicated people in the lobby with a box of Twisted Tea and empty cans all around them. They were loud and harassing guests, including us and families with children. The front desk did nothing. When we went upstairs, the second floor smelled strongly of weed, including our room. We were uncomfortable enough that we packed up and left.We expected much better from Hyatt. We’ve requested a full refund and are still waiting to hear from management. I wouldn’t recommend this location based on our experience.

It was a decent hotel. It seemed kind of worn. The ceiling in my bathroom above the shower was peeling from the top in multiple places. I was in room 321. The wifi barely work in the room. The couch had stains and the sheets that were folded into the pull out at hair and dirt. Luckily we drove and I had brought my own sheets and blanket to use. Two Queen beds were fine. There was stains on the couch. A/C was NICE and cold though. I won't be staying at this Hyatt location again.

Great place, clean and ample parking. The staff are friendly and excellent. The breakfast is basic but ample and tasty. The area is surprisiingly wuiet for hiw busy it is.

our restrooms should have been cleaned. The front desk was called 3x throughout the day 9/21/26. The restroom had urine on the floor & toilet seat. The shower was not cleaned. Housekeeping didn't show up until check out the next day.
