Sunflower Creative Arts is a nonprofit, play-based early childhood organization in Delray Beach where children and families grow through Play, Nature and the Arts. Our programs include Sunflower Babies, Circle of Song, Sunflower Sprouts, Little Seedlings, Sunflower Acorns, Seedlings Nature Preschool for ages 3–6, Roots & Shoots nature and service experiences, and Summer Seedlings Camp. Half-day and limited full-day preschool options are available. Sunflower’s child-led approach nurtures creativity, confidence, curiosity, communication and compassionate problem-solving. Children experience hands-on art, music, sensory exploration, science, gardening, outdoor play and meaningful time in nature. Families also receive practical support as they learn respectful approaches to communication, conflict and child development. Our educational philosophy is grounded in three pillars: Respect for the Individual, Learning Through Experience and Learning Within Community. Families interested in Little Seedlings, Acorns or Seedlings begin by attending an Intro to Early Childhood Programs Meeting.
