The staff at this independent bakery takes extreme pride in their work, doing their best to ensure only the finest pastries, cakes, and breads are presented to our customers. Our staff will help you to customize the cake of your dreams, while our pastry chef will make it a sweet reality. All of the cakes at Daniel's of Paris begin with a French genoise (or sponge cake). Genoise is a naturally drier cake, but its light texture and delicate flavor are enhanced by simple syrup, available in a variety of flavors. When assesmbled together, the cake, syrup and frosting create a not too sweet, not too rich dessert, elegant enough to have at any occasion.
