Replacing the windshield on your RV/Motorhome is a technical endeavor that should only be performed by experienced technicians. Typically, the time required to replace a class A motorhome with a one piece windshield is 2-3 hours. If your coach is a two piece type body then each side can take 1-2 hours. If it is an older model and needs the gasket replaced and both sides the time can be 3-4 hours. After the windshield has been replaced, we recommend Class A motorhomes with one piece glue in windshields are not moved for 24 hours. If it is a one piece gasket set, the coach can be moved in about 4-6 hours. If the coach has two windshields, the wait time should be 4-6 hours. The wait time is to make sure the urethane adhesive sets up so the coach is safe to drive. If we are providing mobile service, the coach at your location must be level, slides in and 30 feet of clearance to the front of the coach. We also need about 2-3 feet of clearance from each side of the coach for ladders. We do side & back glass replacement on travel trailers, 5th wheels and motorhomes. Sometimes a new factory frame is no longer available, we can custom make a window to fit your existing frame in most cases. We can repair dual pane foggy glass in certain cases but cannot offer a warranty because they usually fail over time. The foggy repair would be to get you back on the road for an up coming trip or to sell the RV.
