I recently stayed here at the end of June. The hotel was very nice smelled good. The bed was amazing and the best part was the customer service that I received from Mark at the front desk. He was welcoming. The check-in process was efficient and the location was amazing.

Just returned from the worst stay at the Westin Westminster. The hotel is under new ownership and it has severely changed the way this property operates. I have stayed at this property for the past four years while attending a softball tournament. Unfortunately, this year's experience was dramatically different and fell well below the level of service and quality I have come to expect from Marriott. The guest elevators were frequently unavailable, requiring guests to use maintenance elevators with wait times often exceeding 20 minutes. Lines extended into the hallways, making it difficult to simply get to and from our rooms. Throughout the day, constant jackhammering made it nearly impossible to conduct business calls or work from the lobby or meeting areas, which I had planned to do during my stay.To make matters worse, the on-site convenience store was closed for several days because guests could not safely access it due to construction. This eliminated one of the amenities that has always made the property convenient during our annual visit.Another disappointing change was the implementation of a $15 per day parking fee, something that had never been charged during my previous stays. While I understand hotels may update their policies, it is particularly frustrating to charge guests for parking without ensuring parking is actually available. On July 4, the hotel parking lot was completely filled with non-guests attending the town's Independence Day festivities. Under the previous ownership, staff monitored the parking lot and required a room key to enter, ensuring paying hotel guests had access to parking. This year, no such controls were in place. After returning from dinner that evening, I was unable to find a single parking space despite having paid for parking. The only solution offered by the front desk was to continue driving around the lot and hope a space became available after the fireworks concluded around 11:00 p.m. That is simply not an acceptable experience for paying hotel guests.During my stay, I visited the front desk on multiple occasions to express my concerns yet nothing was done and no compensation was offered.I have always chosen Marriott properties because of the consistently high standards associated with the Marriott Bonvoy brand. The new ownership of The Westin Westminster needs to better understand the expectations of Marriott guests and the importance of delivering the level of service that loyal Bonvoy members have come to expect.

We have stayed here many times but now they will not allow you to park across the street overnight for free. You now have to pay $15 for 24 hours but not across the street but way behind the hotel. I don’t mind paying but I do mind that I have to park so far & there is no way in-you have to walk all the way back to the front. I know it is good exercise but it’s hard for seniors or the disabled that are by themselves. It is especially bad to walk back around the hotel after dark & who knows if someone could attack you or rob you or who knows what else?? There are a lot of crazy people out there. The hotel better do something before someone gets hurt & they will sue them! With the extra $ they will make for parking, they should hire security to help keep it safe or put in some locks near the parking lot that you can use your room key to open. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again and am sad because it is such a nice hotel.

Stayed here 2 weekends ago and have routinely since 2012. Will never stay here again. New ownership spends more on disposable toothpicks for themselves than they do for guests. Zero cleanliness. Zero care for detail. Carpet in the room was disgusting. I guess if you find New Delhi a nice and clean place, you’ll love this property. So sad to see a once-luxurious dame of a property go by way of foreign ownership who has no clue how to run a proper luxury hotel. Motel 6 across the freeway carries more care and concern for its guests than the new owner/operator of Westin Westminster. Sad day, because we used to love this property. Whoever makes the mistake of staying here should at least save some money on cigarettes because I’m sure the butts that were strewn all over the once-awesome patio are still there, so enjoy them.

Our wedding weekend should have been one of the best nights of our lives, and instead we spent a huge chunk of it dealing with hotel chaos. We had a room block reserved for our guests, and check-in was a disaster — guests were left waiting, confused, and frustrated on what was supposed to be a celebratory day. One guest was given a dirty room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one hosting a wedding party. When we got back to our own room after the wedding, it hadn’t been cleaned as promised. A bottle of champagne was a nice gesture, but it doesn’t make up for returning to a room that wasn’t tidy on our wedding night. On top of all this, trying to reach management by phone was nearly impossible — calls went unanswered or unresolved. The one bright spot in all of this was Maria McKnight, who went above and beyond to help us despite dealing with a family emergency of her own. Her care and effort were the only reason this experience wasn’t a total loss, and the hotel is lucky to have her.Overall, this hotel made an already stressful day harder than it needed to be. I’d think twice before trusting them with an event as important as a wedding.
