Orthokeratology (orthoK, GVSS) is a corrective process that provides daytime freedom from glasses and contacts. Special contact lenses are worn at night to correct vision, eliminating the need for correction in the day. Orthokeratology can be done on adults as a reversible alternative to LASIK as well as for children to slow down the progression of myopia or nearsightedness. Dr. Huser and Dr. Tekell are certified to design multiple brands of orthokeratology lenses as well as completely custom designs for higher prescriptions.
