tripadvisorhad made reservation at this location in the fall of 2025 for stay in August 2026. when i arrived i was informed by front desk that i would have to go to 2nd floor. i have cerebral palsy and told them that i spewcified that i needed handicap/ground floor room. i did that multiple times. then after they finally found me a room and i got to te room and went to sleep i get a pounding on the door stating my cc was invalid. i had to call a family member to help resolve this. it was resoved but not after i had to dress and use my walkjer to go back to front desk. i will never stay there again and will never recommend this location to anyone.
MoreThe hotel is very dated and has a mildewy/old smell throughout the entire thing. The room was not clean. There’s no elevator and there was no mention of the free breakfast offered. The staff speaks very limited English and it’s very difficult to communicate with them.
MoreHotel was too humid and air conditioning did not work for some of the rooms. If we turned the ac temp above 70, it was too humid. Hallways were very hot. Breakfast coupons to the attached diner were nice perk. The hotel layout is odd where there is a really long hallway with identical decor making it look like a fun house illusion. There are some rooms in the very middle of the hotel without windows and thankfully we didn't get one of those. There weren't enough towels or toiletries for 4 people and housekeeping coming every other day.
MoreThe only positive things I can say are the location is convenient and the front desk staff are nice. The lobby area also appears clean. That’s about it. Several things to be aware of as a guest:-There is not an elevator. There are only two floors, but if you have heavy luggage or coolers, this is a problem. -Some rooms do not have an exterior window. I’ve stayed at probably hundreds of hotels in my life (even motels!) and have never stayed anywhere that doesn’t have an exterior window. The windows in these rooms open to an interior hallway and indoor pool area.-There is very inconsistent heating and cooling. The rooms have what looks like a window air conditioner (but without having a window.) The unit is placed into a hole in the wall (see photo). We were hot all night, even with it blasting. The hallways in the building were above 90 degrees F.- There are various buckets placed throughout the hotel to catch the leaking roof water. See photo. -There seems to have been an attempted remodel, but it looks like a DIY job. Poor quality. This is, without a doubt, the worst place I’ve stayed, especially for a price of roughly $150 per night. I’m aware that the Wyndham chain is not known for being four star, but there’s no way this meets their standard of quality. Do better or close your doors.
MoreOur team booked here for a tournament via the event lodging. I am appalled this was considered a viable and decent option. Looks were certainly deceiving. From the website and the outside appearance, the property looks nice. Once you get past the check in desk and head to your room that nice looking appearance is out the window. The whole building, especially our room, smells of stale, mildew like air and it's obvious the staff masks the smell with cleaning products. The air was also moist/constantly damp feeling. Once we entered our room, we noticed the shoddy attempts of a remodel. Our door was incredibly noisy and did not close/seal appropriately. There was also a tissue shoved into the peep hole from the last guest I assume. Our room smelled of mildew. We could not locate the source of the smell. The room constantly felt damp. Once we returned home and unpacked our suitcases, our clothes not only smelled like the hotel, they were also quite damp. Our toilet was not only crooked and pointed towards the wall, it was also barely attached to the flange, so when in use, the balancing act was a lot of fun. There are multiple side entrance doors accessible from the parking lot. The doors have significantly large gaps at the threshold, which would very easily allow rodents and other pests in. (Per recent Google reviews, it's no surprise there are reviews within the last month which denote complaints of mice in guest rooms.) The doors also seem to require key card access, but it is certainly not needed. At no point did the side exterior doors lock after exiting the building. Being right next to 2 major interstates, this is a bit of a security risk. The housekeeping staff was unkempt/unprofessional appearing and wearing street clothes, so it was not easy to recognize whether they were an employee or guest. There appeared to be a potential prostitute who was constantly in the lobby. The website states that breakfast was included. However, at check in, the clerk never mentioned anything about breakfast. Our team learned late the first morning you had to ask for a voucher for a very limited option at the attached diner. Since this was learned after the fact on Saturday, some families were assured that Sunday (Father's Day) they could obtain a voucher for breakfast. We attempted to obtain said voucher at 7AM Sunday morning, only for the front desk clerk to deny one, staying no vouchers on Fathers Day. The clerk pointed to a folding table which had some small boxes of dried cereal and some rolls and said that is what was offered for breakfast this morning. This seemed unacceptable. We proceeded to the Diner, which was locked. When we turned around to return to the front desk to see when they were opening, the clerk left the desk and went into a side office room. We returned again at 8 AM to check for breakfast -still not open. We ultimately chose to head somewhere else for a meal. The only thing going for the property is it's close proximity to various amenities. We will not be returning to this location again.
