tripadvisorWe had lunch at the Palm in the dining room, which is exquisitely appointed. Tiffany was our server, professional without being pretentious, and the food was quite good.
MoreThis hotel is beautiful, and historical. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed touring Spokane along the river and falls. Of note, the hotel staff member at the registration / reception desk was lacking in being pleasant. She was too official. Needs better training in customer service. Otherwise, this is a solid hotel with a wonderful history. A shout out to the hostess at the main restaurant who went out of her way to assist me with obtaining a special tea for an ailment. Her name was Janine and she is a great credit to this Hotel and the Palm Grill, which is a lovely dinning spot in Spokane. Thank you to Janine!
More1 hr to check in.no room cleaning for 2 nightsmold and blood stains in showernoise and gun fire at night in streetthis is so bad, do not think about stayingtoo bad used to be very classy
MoreWe absolutely loved our stay at the Davenport. The hotel is stunning in photos, but honestly even more beautiful in person. There is so much history and character throughout the property, and we loved walking around and taking it all in.The location was great too. We were close to shopping, the park, and plenty of places to explore, which made it really easy to get out and see Spokane without having to go far. This was definitely one of those hotels that felt like part of the experience rather than just somewhere to sleep. We would absolutely stay here again!
MoreDon’t come here!!!! The management and staff does absolutely nothing to make your stay here comfortable! Our petry dish room was a biological health hazard. We found a 10” mold growth on the curtain, nasty stains on the pillow, some kind of organic matter dripping down the face of the dresser, & a thin disgusting film on the light switches. When we looked into the air vents, we discovered that the sheet metal has about 1/4 inch of dust @ debris inside & all the air pumped into the space has to pass by that nasty dust. We complained to the front desk & they moved us to another room. We were told that the manager himself personally inspected the 2nd room prior to our move. In the drawer of the second room we found socks & underwear from the previous guest! We discovered that the window sills were not cleaned in a long time because we found dust, dirt & leaves. (Look at the photos to see what we found). How could anyone miss this obvious surface detail if they went to “inspect” our room. In both rooms we noticed that the towels were so old that they were either frayed or had holes in them, & the blankets had threads pulled out! I wouldn’t expect these issues in a cheap roadside motel, but when we had problems in a more prestigious hotel like this, it became abundantly obvious that this flea bag hotel needs to be inspected by the health department. One of the staff at the front desk did try to make things right by giving us a breakfast voucher (good for up to $52), but quite frankly that didn’t come close to making our stay pleasant. Don’t waste your money & time coming here!
