It is one of the perks at the southern tip of Manhattan, part of the large green space that you will find there. And the green is needed because next door are the dense skyscrapers of the Wall Street area. People congregate here in good weather.

We are coming back to this park and it is more and more turning out to be a favorite spot with the views /sunset over Jersey and the very nice kept area around the park.

Fantastic view while watching the sunset over jersey. A lot of activities in groups or families and a very relaxed atmosphere.

It's really a lovely little park, sort of an add-on to Battery Park, which I returned to again and again on my visit. All of this area is special, green space on the edge of the dense skyscrapers. Come and sit on a bench.
