The Las Vegas strip as expected is glitzy. You can see ancient Rome, a mini-Paris with an Eiffel Tower, and a full Venetian canal. You can watch the iconic free shows like the Bellagio Fountains and the high-tech marvel of The Sphere. The energy and vibes are unreal. We were lucky enough to see the strip from our hotel room lit up beautifully. There are lots of restaurants and places for food and shopping too.We walked through the stunning, beautifully detailed mega resorts like The Venetian and the famous Caesars Palace.

Regardless of what they say about the amount of visitors. Vegas is not worth the trip. Many empty lots where casinos used to stand. Fenced off like a slum. Surprize fees at the hotel no one mentioned. No reasonably priced place to eat like in the old days. Food was twicevas expensive asbit was at home. If you have a lot of money and don't mind parting with it please go. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

4th trip to las Vegas and seriously considering weather I will return. Walking on the strip and suddenly there are guys with a snake around their necks, I move to the right and there is another one. This is very disturbing as I am very afraid of snakes. Can't they be in a place that if you want the experience you can go to them as opposed to having them shoved on you? I was so upset I just went back to my room.

We all know the water is pure awful. If you don't want to pay a fortune for bottled water fill your ice bucket with cubes and let them melt. They must filter that water so the cubes aren't cloudy and that water taste great. The other tip, we brought an electric tea pot to make ice tea. After boiling tap water let it cool and it will also taste good. Last tip, bring a gallon zip lock bag and keep it with you. When you come in stop at the vending machine and get your ice so you don't have to walk back with the ice bucket. Ever step you save in Vegas helps.

I literally have no photos of the strip. The part between the Venetian Resort and Harrah's is horrible. I realize Pot is legal in Vegas, but come on, I don't want you to light up around me, or while your walking in front of me. Go somewhere private do your thing, I don't do drugs and it was making me sick. We went that way once, anywhere that people felt free to light up outside in a public setting we didn't go back and we were in Vegas for a week. I would not suggest taking your kids or teenagers to Vegas. It is not family friendly and is the poster child for not legalizing pot, which I was for, until this week.
