A Bushwick staple for over 8 years, BTJ has grown from boutique selling local handmade goods to now offer studio use, workshops, and printing/sewing/dyeing services. The boutique is mostly online currently, and focusing on special events. Better Than Jam will be moving online to focus on the Studio and hosting some extra special events, a few of which we'll be hitting the road for! Expect designer trunk shows and seasonal sales in the studio to celebrate special occasions. But what about the storefront? Welcome "The Passenger" We are very excited to be partnering with some great friends who have a great vision of what the space could be. A pop up shop within BTJ studios will transform the storefront here during March, forming along side the BTJ community. They hope to help grow and work with the artistic and craft community we've been building. But they'll have their own look and attitude, hoping to feature more artist prints, artist books, comics, small press, imported comic and zines, handmade and custom jewelry, screenprinted shirts and other fashions. Maybe even a little Better Than Jam! They'll even be adding to the workshop schedule to offer Coptic binding and more!
